EZG Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual machines to produce precision parts. This role is ideal for someone who can read blueprints, work independently or with a team, and take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Experience with manual machining equipment.
Ability to read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools.
Knowledge of metals, materials, and machining processes.
Strong problem-solving and math skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to produce precision parts.
Perform machining operations based on blueprints and work instructions.
Use equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and chop saws.
Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Lay out and machine parts to required specifications and tolerances.
Inspect finished parts using gauges and measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot setups and recommend process improvements.
Maintain quality standards and ensure accuracy in all work.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
