Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Manual Machinists for projects located in the Kenner, LA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $34-38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Operate vertical and horizontal lathes and other specified shop machinery to machine parts to precise tolerances following engineering prints or work orders Cut left-hand threads when required and perform threading boring facing turning and other machining operations as specified Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints or part specs measure and verify dimensions and tolerances ensure quality and accuracy of finished parts Perform setup alignment and tool changes as needed check part alignment and dimension after machining report any out-of-tolerance conditions or deviations

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities
