About The Position

We’re hiring a Manual Machinist for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: Job Title: Manual Machinist Location: Northwest Houston, TX Pay: $20-$34/hour Hours: M-F night shift (30 min lunch break), Will train on a 1st shift schedule Monday to Friday 7-330pm for first 2 months before moving to night shift. Overtime as needed/required. Duration: Temp to Hire Description of Duties: Ability to produce machined parts per specifications through study of parts sampled, drawings, blueprints, etc. Utilize Horizontal Mill, Vertical Mill, Milling, knowledge of mathematics, micrometers, calipers, pick correct tools to be machined. Requirements: 5+ yrs. exp, Works independently, can operate machines and utilize tools for machined work, lift up to 40lbs on occasion, Basic Computer skills, attention to detail, stand, crouch, bend for duration of the shift.
