Manual Machinist - Press Brake
About The Position
JOB SUMMARY Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Manual Machinist to manufacture products utilizing various manually-operated machines as well as a Computer Number Controlled (CNC) press brake. This position will look at blueprints or plans for the finished products and make adjustments to the machine as needed to ensure the final product is defect-free and ready for the next step in production. They are responsible for monitoring machines, making adjustments as needed, and conducting routine maintenance. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Ability to travel with a valid drivers’ license.
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with basic and precision tools to take accurate measurements (e.g. tape measures, speed squares, calipers, micrometers).
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English language.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Manual Machinist/Press Brake Operator.
- Proven ability in utilizing advanced math skills (e.g. trigonometry).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
