We’re constantly improving our manufacturing capabilities to meet rapidly-changing design requirements. A manual machine operator operates and maintains various types of manual machines in a manufacturing or production setting. Their primary duty is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the machines they work with. We are seeking machine operators to join our team! You will help operate machines and ensure excellent quality control.

  • Set up, operate, and adjust manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, or saws according to work orders, blueprints, or specifications.
  • Oversee and coordinate machine operations and activities.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on manual machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components.
  • Monitor product output to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Handle raw materials, such as metal or plastic, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Identify and resolve common machine issues or production problems.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, or safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to achieve production goals.
  • Comply with relevant regulations, standards, or procedures.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing operations or other related fields preferred, but not necessary.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment but not necessary.
  • Ability to learn Shop Mathematics.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Able to handle physical workload.
  • Able to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand for long periods (8 – 10 hour shifts).
