About The Position

This role involves manual assembly using handheld power tools to accurately assemble various components. It may also include manual saw-cutting operations for component preparation. The individual will be accountable for all activities and output in their designated work area, ensuring efficiency and quality, and overseeing compliance with quality standards. The position requires performing additional duties such as machine maintenance and tooling changes. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, particularly when working around hot machinery and moving equipment, with a requirement to adhere to all safety and quality guidelines and report any hazards to the supervisor. The role also includes participation in ongoing training and skill development, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and reporting operational inefficiencies.

Requirements

  • Competency in reading and interpreting measurements from a tape measure, digital calipers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Experience with various hand and power tools, including but not limited to, drills, impact drivers, and pneumatic systems.
  • Capability to adhere to production timelines and meet output targets.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve collective production goals and ensure workflow efficiency.

  • Prioritize and uphold safety measures, particularly when working around hot machinery and moving equipment. Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines. Report any safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promptly report any operational inefficiencies or safety hazards to the supervisor.
