About The Position

Midwest Staffing is looking for an experienced Manual 12-ton Di-Acro Setup Operator to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. In this role, you'll set up and operate manual 12-ton Di-Acro press brakes to bend, shape, and form sheet metal parts according to specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or six months of related experience.
• Experience as a Setup Operator in sheet metal manufacturing.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision tools.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Detail-oriented and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the manual 12-ton Di-Acro press brake.
• Read blueprints and specifications for setup and bending.
• Install appropriate tooling and dies.
• Program machine settings like bend angles and tonnage.
• Operate the press brake to shape sheet metal accurately.
• Monitor and adjust machine operations to ensure quality.
• Follow safety guidelines.
