About The Position
The Floater/Water Spider on the PAT line is an essential contributor to the sustainable success of the line. As a Floater/Water Spider, High Energy, Multi-Tasking, and Problem-Solving Skills are required. The expectation for the Floater/Water Spider is that he/she will always set a positive example for other team members. As part of Junior Leadership, the Floater/Water Spider will assist the TL/Supervisor in monitoring other team members for adherence to the MBCI Safety Policies and Procedures. Floaters and Water Spiders will always wear proper PPE while conducting their job functions: Bump Caps and reflective Safety Vest/straps are required in the picking aisles. Safety Glasses, Earplugs, and Steel Toe Shoes are always required while on the floor. Gloves are always required when auditing, and handling material. Gloves should never be cut at the fingertips. Floaters/Water Spiders are required to identify miss picks, empties, and damaged parts in the IPAD to ensure proper accountability. Floaters/Water Spiders will ensure to inspect picked material on carts as audits are being conducted and replace any defects caught.
