About The Position

As a Manifestor at Lamb Weston, you will be responsible for correctly entering data and producing tickets for all production transactions using a computer program and equipment. This role encompasses various areas including production, cold storage warehouse, and dry supplies. You will maintain safe work practices, accurately count products, and enter data into a computer program to generate accurate reporting and ticketing of products for the plant. You will also coordinate with lab personnel, communicate with team leaders, and follow detailed instructions while collecting required paperwork at the end of your shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in recordkeeping, computer usage, and lab work is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English.
• Ability to effectively present or listen to information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages, and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work practices at all times and participate in safety programs.
• Identify and accurately count product and enter that data into a computer program.
• Operate computer terminal keyboard to enter data and produce tickets for inbound/outbound bulk, inbound dry storage materials, and waste product.
• Coordinate with lab personnel for proper dispositioning of held product.
• Communicate frequently with Team Leaders, leads, lift operators, and tote room attendants.
• Follow detailed instructions and collect all required paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Learn or have knowledge of lot #'s, catalog #'s, cut style, blending requirements and impacts.
• Ensure proper ticketing and coding of all product using the manifest accounting system.
• Set priorities with minimal supervision.
• Provide breaks to fellow workers as directed by the Team Leader.
• Assist as needed in normal packaging duties such as rework and cleanup.
• Train other potential Manifestors.
• Prepare and generate reports for bay transfers, rework, blending, waste, and end of shift.
