About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a steady flow of boxes on the dock by monitoring the boxes from the 60 s lanes to the trailers; compiling data in order to report a daily shipping summary at the end of shift; assist the supervisor and the lead person in the training of new hires; ensure that all team members are following the plant policies and procedures; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1 plus year’s experience in the shipping area of Material Handling is preferred; will consider like experience as a Manifestor in other departments.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; 10 key skills.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to report problems as they arise in the day-to-day operations compile end of shift reports for management and assist the supervisor in giving direction to the other team members.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift push pull or carry 100 plus lbs frequently; ability to climb ladders and be able to work in cold environment 40-45 degrees
