About The Position

The Manifestor keeps track of all incoming and outgoing products and assists in all related functions in record keeping requirements and inventory. This position is essential for ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established time frames for record keeping requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand training material and policies.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Preferred experience in shipping and receiving, working with large moving equipment.
• Preference for poultry or food processing organization.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED.
• One to three months related experience or training.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Scans pallets to accurately capture proper case count, weights and dates.
• Documents numbers and codes per pallet. Creates a label for the pallet.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed in accordance with established time frames or record keeping requirements.
• Verifies pallets and labels are correct and sent to the right destination.
• Participates as a member of the Team, fostering strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues.
• Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness and works with the team to resolve issues.
• Maintains familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems and communicates concerns and improvement ideas.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
