Why This Role Matters As a Managing Technical Consultant, Archaeologist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing ERM’s Cultural Resources Services practice across the Pacific Northwest. Your leadership ensures regulatory excellence, Tribal and agency collaboration, and high‑quality technical work that supports some of the region’s most important environmental and infrastructure initiatives. This position strengthens ERM’s ability to deliver thoughtful, compliant, and culturally sensitive solutions for clients across the U.S. What Your Impact Is Lead and deliver high‑quality archaeological investigations—both desktop analyses and field studies—that inform project planning, permitting, and environmental review. Build trusted relationships with SHPOs, Tribal Nations, federal/state agencies, and key stakeholders across Washington, Oregon, and the broader region. Manage diverse, simultaneous projects with precision—ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Mentor and guide cultural resources staff, helping develop the next generation of field directors, analysts, and technical specialists. Collaborate with environmental planners, biologists, engineers, GIS experts, and others across ERM to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary solutions. Support proposal development and cost estimates to strengthen ERM’s market presence and client offerings.
