As the Managing Escrow Officer, you will take ownership of the preparation of all documents associated with the processing and closing of escrow, conveyance of title, recording of documents, clearing of title requirements and issuance of title insurance. You will develop and maintain business by utilizing marketing and customer service techniques to ensure an exceptional experience for both internal and external stakeholders. A career with purpose. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of Escrow Officer experience
  • Book of business requirement of $20-$30K
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and preferred experience with Title software
  • Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job.
  • Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment.
  • Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions.
  • Assists with post-closing duties.
  • Able to complete a file from beginning to end.
  • Able to read and perform duties required to clear title.
  • Ensure follow through is completed on all files.
  • Champion a customer-centric mindset by delivering exceptional service throughout the Escrow closing process.
  • Prioritize transparent communication between buyers and sellers, agents, mortgage professionals, underwriting etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary information and escrow transactions.
  • Draws instructions and supporting documents for signing.
  • Understands and complies with Alta Best Practices.
  • Able to follow directions and comply with company policies.
  • Trains, supervises, guides, and assigns and reviews the work of one or more escrow closers and/or assistants.
