About The Position

Neos Talent is exclusively partnering with a high-growth, private equity–backed advisory firm to appoint a Managing Director within its Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. This firm operates a fully integrated platform across Transaction Advisory, Valuations, Performance Improvement, Turnaround & Restructuring, Office of the CFO and Investment Banking. With significant institutional backing and sustained national expansion, the business is scaling rapidly across major U.S. markets. This opportunity is suited to a commercially driven TAS leader seeking true revenue ownership, platform impact, and MD-level economics within an entrepreneurial environment. The Role The Managing Director will: Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity sponsors, lenders and corporate acquirers Oversee Quality of Earnings, working capital, net debt, cash flow and risk analysis Deliver board-ready reports and executive-level insights Review transaction agreements and key commercial contracts Drive cross-functional collaboration across Performance Improvement, Restructuring and Investment Banking teams Build and maintain a personal network generating consistent deal flow Contribute meaningfully to firm-wide growth and strategic initiatives Mentor and develop emerging leadership within the TAS team This is a revenue-impacting role with direct influence over practice growth and market positioning.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of financial due diligence experience (or audit + FDD combination)
  • Big 4 background strongly preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP
  • Demonstrated success pitching and converting PE and lender mandates
  • Existing sponsor and capital provider relationships
  • Strong executive communication and client leadership capability
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in lean, high-performance teams
