About The Position

The Managing Director is responsible for generating sales, increasing revenue and profitability. This position establishes and develops client relationships as well as works with one or more recruiters to fulfill open job orders. The position will collaborate with business stakeholders, business leaders and subject matter experts to plan and deliver projects effectively and timely.

Requirements

  • 8+ years technology sales or staffing experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience and success as a sales 'hunter' (i.e. winning new business from new companies), generating a minimum of $500K in gross margin annually through contract staffing sales.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging existing business relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities within a client organization.
  • Organized and structured approach to new business development activities.
  • Track record with establishing and nurturing relationships within Fortune 500 clients.
  • Organized and structured approach to prioritizing and managing a team and their weekly work activities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team and working with individual members to establish work activity goals, defining career objectives and helping them with creating and managing a career development plan.
  • Strong understanding and ability to articulate the major areas within an IT organization (i.e. IT org chart), in addition to the major business functions within a company (e.g., finance, purchasing, sales, supply chain).
  • Familiarity with ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics) and experience working on ERP related positions.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and experience working on data related positions.
  • Active member of the IT community, networking groups a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and motivate a high-performing team to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
  • Serve as primary strategic lead for the team and line of business.
  • Establish and maintain target list developing client relationships.
  • Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, 'ad calls,' skills marketing, email, social media, in-person meetings, and other methods.
  • Generate new job orders weekly in line with performance objectives.
  • Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
  • Utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business as well as planning daily activities.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate.
