Fitch's U.S. & Canada Corporates rating team is seeking a Managing Director to lead the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry family in our New York, Chicago, or Toronto office. The role reports to the Regional Head of U.S. & Canada Corporates, is a member of the Regional Division's Senior Leadership Team, and entails managing a team of ~40 analysts covering 400+ issuers while overseeing ratings processes, analytical research, outreach, and criteria development, and representing Fitch externally at a senior level. Has experience leading effective, high-performing teams at substantial scale, with demonstrated success managing multiple sector teams/geographies and building robust succession pipelines. Has demonstrated an ability to develop talent and foster potential of junior analysts. Has prior experience at a credit rating agency or in a closely related credit role (e.g., corporate credit analysis, capital markets). Understands the functioning of the debt capital markets. Has a network of relationships within the debt capital markets and TMT sector.
