About The Position
Principal Alternative Credit (Direct Lending) launched in 2020 and is rapidly growing, achieving a record-breaking year in 2024. Our success is driven by the unique experiences, backgrounds, and talents of our employees – individually and all of us together. As a Managing Director, Originations, you will play a pivotal role with the primary responsibility of originating loans through the Private Equity (PE) Sponsor channel, concentrating your efforts in Texas and surrounding regions. You will work alongside the entire sponsor origination team to improve efficiency and performance across the platform. In addition to originating senior loans, you will also explore opportunities to originate second lien loans, mezzanine debt, and equity co-investments.
