Position Overview The Managing Director of Schools (MDs) is a senior member of the KIPP CAP Regional Leadership responsible for the superior performance of schools in the regional portfolio, directly managing the overall portfolio of schools, principals, and initiatives that impact the education of future graduates. Goals and Milestones The Managing Director of Schools will be responsible for meeting the following ambitious goals. Goals subject to change based on the needs of students and regional priorities: Academicsâ 70% of students passing the state test in Reading & Math â 85% of K-2 students at or above benchmark on mCLASSâ 95% of HS students GPA >2.5â Student Engagement & Experience â 90% Student Retention from Fall to Fall â 95% Average Daily Attendance â 85% of 8th graders enroll in KCAP HSâ Regional Sustainability â Schools achieve 100% or over their budgeted enrollment goal âTalent 100% of teacher roles filled by the first day of school
