Come grow with us! Overview: A Field Sales Director plays a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth and market expansion. This position involves developing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with key buyers and augmenting the sales efforts of Partners. The Sales Director will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, setting pursuit targets, and meeting his/her sales goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience with proven success in selling professional services (not selling a product) to corporations with revenues ranging from $25 million to $1 billion. Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.
  • Exceptional experience leading complex sales processes that involve multiple team members and decision makers (primarily C-suite decision makers).
  • Demonstrated network of COI's (Centers of Influence) to include banking, legal and other professional services relationships that could be used to find opportunities within targeted industries.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated community involvement and activity with industry associations, civic and/or non-profit groups is helpful.
  • Proven experience in sales within Professional Services Private Equity space.
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, best practices, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Superior professional presence with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the products and services that Crowe takes to market to be an effective seller.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, working additional hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve target objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the Private Equity space for Crowe.
  • Forge strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry leaders to expand the firm's market presence and influence.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate Partners and Managers on their sales activity to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Represent Crowe at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Drive overall cross-BU practice area revenue growth through a combination of business development, oversight of prospect/client relationships, and strategic planning/positioning.
  • Understand short- and long-term needs and challenges of prospective accounts and how Crowe's services can address those issues. Participate with a team of partners, senior managers and marketing professionals in the pursuit process that moves prospects through all stages of the sales process.
  • Assist in the negotiation for the development of MSA’s, engagement letters, and other applicable binding contracts.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled sales debriefing meetings with Partners and staff assessing the sales pipeline and opportunity involvement, as needed.
  • Understand client’s business needs and align to appropriate Crowe services and solutions, while working in close collaboration with Crowe solution architects and service delivery teams.
  • Assist in the transfer of prospective client knowledge to the BU Practice/Industry Leader or appropriate service delivery personnel.
