About The Position

The Senior Director of Client Services for Private Equity Fund Accounting is responsible for overseeing the Client Service Directors to enhance business opportunities and increase revenue streams. This role involves managing the P&L goals for the North America Client Service team, making strategic decisions to meet or exceed revenue targets, and enhancing profitability. The position serves as an escalation point for Client Service Directors to address challenging client needs and operational limitations. Additionally, the Senior Director will drive business development efforts with key clients, enhance relationships with existing clients, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to expand the company's footprint. The role also includes managing career development and talent management for Client Service Directors, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and implementing best practices to optimize service delivery. The Senior Director will be responsible for defining staffing needs, managing key department projects, and ensuring that team assignments are aligned with business needs. Staying informed of industry changes and developing KPIs and SLAs are also critical components of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance; MBA preferred
  • Proven inspirational leader and manager of people
  • At least ten years of industry experience with a proven track record of improving service operations
  • Experience leading large teams and achieving high profitability goals
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proactive and dynamic personality
  • Industry compliance experience a plus
  • Investor Services experience a plus
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and work with Client Service Directors to increase awareness of business opportunities to increase revenue streams
  • Manage and achieve the P&L goals for the North America Client Service team
  • Serve as an escalation point for Client Service Directors to navigate and solve challenging client needs
  • Drive business development efforts with key clients to generate revenue opportunities
  • Enhance relationships with existing clients and strengthen C-suite connectivity
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to increase company footprint and identify new clients
  • Assist in renewals, engagements, and negotiations with clients
  • Manage the career development and talent management of Client Service Directors
  • Collaborate with other North America leaders to carry out shared goals
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling services to clients
  • Assist with the implementation of best practices and drive operational efficiencies
  • Identify, lead and delegate key department projects
  • Manage staffing needs and resource allocation for client service teams
  • Empower team leaders to develop innovative thinkers and promote staff engagement
  • Ensure scheduling and team assignments are maintained and modified as needed
  • Stay informed of industry changes and proactively solution services
  • Develop and manage KPIs and review client deliverables
  • Present performance reports and metrics to the MD Operations
  • Handle internal responsibilities such as scheduling and time tracking
