High Turbine Technologies (HTT) is a joint venture between Chromalloy (75%) and FTAI Aviation (25%), created to commercialize and distribute FAA‑approved PMA turbine blades and vanes for the CFM56 engine platform. The HTT portfolio represents one of the most valuable and strategically important PMA franchises in the global commercial aerospace aftermarket. As demand accelerates and the business scales, HTT is creating a Managing Director role to provide dedicated leadership, full P&L ownership, and disciplined execution across a high‑value, supply‑constrained product portfolio. HTT operates in an environment where disciplined allocation, execution rigor, and cash management are the primary drivers of value. The Role The Managing Director, HTT is the single‑point owner of the HTT P&L. This leader operates as a true general manager — accountable for financial performance, cash generation, and business execution — while working within an enterprise pricing and manufacturing framework managed at the Chromalloy level. This is a foundational leadership role with high visibility, designed for a senior P&L leader who thrives in complex, partner‑based environments and knows how to drive results through influence, discipline, and excellent judgment.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in aerospace, industrial, or complex engineered products
  • Proven P&L ownership for a product line, platform, or business unit. Experience with a sales distribution / market distributor sales model
  • Experience operating in allocation-managed environments with demanding customers
  • Management experience / exposure within a joint venture dynamic, with multi-stakeholder governance strongly preferred
  • Experience with cross functional collaboration in a matrix organization
  • Senior‑level gravitas; credible with boards, partners, and customers
  • Strong financial and operational judgment
  • Comfortable with managing tension within a matrix organization and making difficult tradeoffs that ultimately benefit the company and its joint venture partners
  • Influential, low‑ego leader who drives results through collaboration, alignment and accountability
  • Structured, disciplined, and calm under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L accountability for HTT, including revenue, margin, cost control, inventory, and working capital
  • Drive cash generation and margin realization from an established CFM56 PMA blade and vane portfolio
  • Translate enterprise pricing and manufacturing outcomes into predictable financial results
  • Lead forecasting, operating reviews, and performance management with rigor and transparency
  • Serve as Managing Director of the company
  • Prepare and present clear, credible business updates, financial reviews, and operating plans
  • Act as the primary operating interface between Chromalloy and FTAI
  • Balance strong partnership orientation with the ability to assertively protect HTT economics and comply with the requirements of the joint venture agreement
  • Ensure clean governance, disciplined execution, and “no‑surprise” performance
  • Define HTT’s commercial strategy in close coordination with Chromalloy’s Sales and Business Development teams
  • Act as senior sponsor to key MROs, operators, and asset owners
  • Personally engage on strategic accounts, escalations, and critical commercial decisions
  • Lead disciplined allocation management of high demand product offerings
  • Lead HTT’s operating model in coordination with Chromalloy finance, legal, compliance, procurement, business development and program management
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain leaders to align priorities and resolve constraints
  • Build scalable processes and decision frameworks appropriate for a rapidly growing business
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational, financial, and contractual risks
  • Prepare HTT to absorb future PMA introductions as additional programs come online
  • Support long‑range planning, capacity alignment, and portfolio sequencing
  • Ensure HTT is positioned as a disciplined, reliable, long‑term aftermarket partner

Benefits

  • Comprehensive and flexible benefit options starting on day one, including medical, dental, vision, EAP, wellness incentives, and 401(k) with employer matching.
