Partnering with senior executives across our Technology and Operations organization and Innovation Office, you will lead all people related strategies, implementation of talent practices, and oversee all people matters globally. Effectively leading a team of ~7 HR Business Partners globally for this vast and diverse set of functions, is essential to BlackRock's current functioning and for its future growth. The role is responsible for leading forward-looking people strategies, working closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver a tailored best-in-class talent agenda, consulting on talent-related business decisions and partnering with enterprise HR functions. You will serve as the central point of contact and right hand to business leaders to support critical day-to-day issues as they arise, and strategic talent programs, with a forward view. Reporting to the Global Head of HR Business Partners and serving as a member of the Global BP Leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in helping set the strategic direction of the HRBP function, and be an energetic, horizontal leader across HR. To succeed in this business-critical role, you will need proven experience in building trust and credibility with executive teams and employees as well as a track record of the successful execution of people-related programs and initiatives. You should possess a solid understanding of BlackRock's commercial and functional priorities and an ability to translate those to relevant people strategies. Experience as an HRBP in a dynamic financial services organization will be highly valuable, along with experience in a broader talent role and leadership development.
