About The Position

This role will work closely with the director of the Center for Vocational Discovery to serve students, faculty, and staff in building programs, strategy, tools, coaching, and culture focused on vocational discovery within the four waypoints of the CVD -- identity, purpose, vocation, and location.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the director of the Center for Vocational Discovery to serve students, faculty, and staff in building programs, strategy, tools, coaching, and culture focused on vocational discovery within the four waypoints of the CVD -- identity, purpose, vocation, and location.
  • Assist director with student-focused CVD programs, initiatives, coaching, and relationship building.
  • Coordinate and execute Freshman Assembly CliftonStrengths programs and coaching.
  • Coordinate and execute workshops.
  • Coordinate and execute retreats.
  • Ensure availability to students.
  • Assist with administrative tasks of CVD.
  • Manage event logistics, planning, and setup.
  • Promote and communicate events/programs to students.
  • Administer the CliftonStrengths platform.
  • Track event attendance and keep records.
  • Communicate details with guest speakers.
  • Manage logistics of the Illuminate conference.
  • Lead Pathfinder cohort by creating events and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain mentoring relationships with Pathfinder students.
  • Manage overall communication with the Pathfinder cohort.
  • Monitor, log, and track student engagement with Pathfinder program requirements.
  • Build relationships and strategic partnerships across campus.
  • Work with faculty and staff on strategic CVD integration and initiatives.
  • Assist with faculty/staff training to help build and maintain a culture of vocational discovery.
  • Assist faculty in coursework integration.
  • Assist director in qualitative research to measure program effectiveness.
  • Conduct ongoing research in the field of vocation to help ensure best practices, create new resources, and create new strategies.
  • Maintain, create, and develop relationships with current and new donors.
  • Explore, evaluate, and develop strategic external partnerships.
