About The Position
The Energy Division catalyzes the transition to a clean, resilient, and just energy future. This position leads the Energy Programs in Communities Unit of the Energy Division, overseeing programs that enable all communities to participate in the clean energy transition. We seek an innovative, inclusive, and decisive leader to join our management team. The Managing Director leads a team of 30-40 professionals administering state and federal funding focused on improving access to renewable energy and efficient technologies, increasing community resiliency, reducing energy burden, and advancing environmental justice initiatives. As Managing Director, you will drive program success through strategic design, efficient procurement and contracting, and policy implementation that advances our state's clean energy and environmental justice goals. The Managing Director reports to the Assistant Director for the Energy Division and serves as a member of the division's and agency's management teams.
