About The Position

STORE Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking a Managing Director of Acquisitions to join our ‘Direct’ Acquisitions team! How you will contribute to STORE’s mission: The Managing Director of Acquisitions is a member of the ‘Direct’ Acquisitions Team who is responsible for managing all phases of the Acquisitions process, with two goals being paramount in the success of the role; 1) significantly increasing the annual Acquisitions volume in the assigned territory and 2) developing new potential customers for STORE while also successfully managing existing customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Finance, and or related area.
  • 5+ years of work experience in commercial real estate, banking or finance; at least 1 year of credit or real estate analysis preferred.
  • Willingness to regularly travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the capacity to work independently while possessing a team attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Effective at time and task management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and deliver quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and identify new leads within the territory through active research of middle market companies, private equity groups, and asset ownership.
  • Cold calling efforts to generate meetings for prospecting trips, and in the regular outreach and communications with existing customers.
  • Sell STORE Capital’s tailored benefits and the solutions we offer existing/potential new customers. This is done via emails, phone conversations, attending conferences and through prospecting trips to visit customers.
  • Perform preliminary financial and real estate analysis on new opportunities with the goal of sending a Letter of Intent to the customer that is structured and priced such that it is approvable by STORE’s investment committee.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other internal data to maximize productivity, streamline reporting, and track pipeline.
  • Manage the internal and external processes and expectations through the entire life cycle of a transaction; prospecting, negotiations, LOI, underwriting, investment committee, closing and post-transaction relationship.
  • Participate in the Investment Committee presentation to senior, executive leadership and board members.
