Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in site investigation/remediation projects (7–12 years preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead moderate to complex technical/regulatory projects
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Environmental field experience and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety protocols
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in Indiana or reciprocity state (or ability to obtain soon)
  • Experience with innovative remediation technologies and high-resolution site characterization
  • Proven ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical experts

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute site investigation and remediation projects for soil, groundwater, and sediments
  • Plan and oversee field activities including sampling, drilling, well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and remedial construction
  • Interpret environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical reports and work plans
  • Evaluate remedial alternatives and assist clients in negotiating cost-effective closure strategies with regulators
  • Design and implement innovative remediation technologies, including bench-scale and pilot testing
  • Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks effectively to maximize team performance
  • Prepare proposals, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to business development efforts
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
