The Managing Consultant position involves performing qualitative and quantitative research, building spreadsheets and models, and leading the review and analysis of industry trends and academic research. The role requires ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses, presenting results to colleagues and clients, and collaborating with team members to design and build quantitative models. The consultant will also serve as a guide for project implementation and work closely with economic testifying experts to draft memos and expert reports. Participation in client meetings and conference calls is expected, along with the ability to present data in an informative and understandable manner.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research
  • Build spreadsheets and models with principal directions
  • Independently perform complex calculations and handle large, complex data sets
  • Lead the review, summary, and analysis of industry trends and academic research
  • Lead analyses and reporting for various projects
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses through rigorous data checking processes
  • Present results of analyses to colleagues and clients
  • Collaborate with team members to design and build quantitative models
  • Apply econometric analysis to economic and financial data
  • Serve as a guide and resource for project implementation
  • Work closely with the economic testifying expert to draft memos and expert reports
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls
  • Present data in an informative, attractive, and understandable manner
  • Take initiative to creatively and independently find information sources or data
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in economics, statistics, or related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in economic consulting and/or economic analysis
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in economics, statistics, or related quantitative field and demonstrated knowledge of economic analysis
  • Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of analytical or statistical software (e.g. SAS, STATA, R, SQL, Python or similar)
  • Knowledge of applied statistics and econometrics
