ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Engineering/Geologist/Scientist to join our dynamic Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation team in Denver, CO . What Your Impact Is Drive complex site investigation and remediation projects for soil, groundwater, sediments, and free-phase product. Deliver innovative, sustainable remedial solutions for oil & gas and other sectors. Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and safety. Strengthen client relationships and contribute to ERM’s growth through business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in site investigation/remediation under diverse regulatory programs ( RCRA, CDPHE, Colorado ECMC, etc. ).
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years preferred progressive experience in site investigation/remediation under diverse regulatory programs ( RCRA, CDPHE, Colorado ECMC, etc. ).
  • Professional Certification (P.E. or P.G.) or active pursuit of licensure.
  • Experience with innovative remedial technologies and sustainability-focused approaches.
  • Local candidates strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and lead technical teams for site investigation and remediation.
  • Plan and oversee field activities: sampling, drilling, well installation, vapor intrusion assessment, pilot tests, and system construction oversight.
  • Design and negotiate remedial solutions using emerging and traditional technologies.
  • Prepare technical proposals and support business development initiatives.
  • Mentor junior staff and build collaborative relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and champion innovative remediation strategies.
