About The Position

Legal Services of North Florida is hiring a Managing Attorney for the Quincy office. Work for a non-profit law firm, with 140+ employees in eight offices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice for low-income and vulnerable individuals while understanding the value of work-life balance. The Managing Attorney will manage the law firm branch office and supervise the activities of the support staff and staff attorneys, while handling a reduced caseload. The Managing Attorney plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of LSNF within the local community, collaborating with partner organizations, and looking for ways to effect systematic change with appellate work and high-impact cases. The Managing Attorney will b e responsible for managing grant projects and task deadlines as well as convey goals to and motivate legal and non-legal team members to operate collaboratively. Quality applicants will have at least five years of experience practicing law and two years of e xperience supervising staff. Applicants must be a member of The Florida Bar in good standing. Applicants should have strong leadership skills, passion to serve vulnerable populations, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people. Experience with public service or a legal services organization is desired. Compensation is negotiable depending on experience. Requirements
