Dodson Pest Control, a prominent family-owned pest control company established in 1944, is seeking a District Manager to join our growing team in Culpeper, VA. With over 650 employees, we proudly serve customers across six states and the District of Columbia. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service to the local community while being part of a larger regional leader in the pest control industry. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the local office. This includes hiring and training personnel, organizing and planning work schedules, managing budgets, and overseeing fleet management. You will also review and analyze profit and loss statements to adjust business requirements accordingly. Active participation in customer visits is essential to encourage and support sales while assessing customer satisfaction. Regular visits to key customers will be a part of your responsibilities to ensure their needs are being met effectively. In addition to operational oversight, you will be tasked with problem-solving and providing logical solutions in situations involving customer concerns and team member conflicts. It is crucial to ensure that all district office employees are fulfilling their individual job purpose descriptions and meeting their responsibilities. Flexibility in your work schedule is necessary, as you may need to adjust your hours to meet customer needs, which could include occasional Saturday work.
