About The Position

Oversee the daily operations of all Utilization Review areas and provide support to the team. Work with the Director of Utilization Review, Patient Accounts, Patient access and the Utilization Review Medical Director for audits and process improvement opportunities. Responsible for staff training and education for Milliman and InterQual. Manage and oversee UR nurses and UR clerks that includes training, PFP evaluations, schedules, and managing employee relation issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of experience in the Acute Healthcare/Medical field.
• 3 years of experience in Utilization Review and/or appeals with payer systems.
• Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or Multi-State Compact License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all Utilization Review areas.
• Provide support to the Utilization Review team.
• Collaborate with the Director of Utilization Review, Patient Accounts, Patient Access, and the Utilization Review Medical Director for audits and process improvement.
