About The Position

UW Health is the largest employer of youth apprentices in Wisconsin and a recognized statewide leader. We are seeking a system-level leader to expand and strengthen youth career exploration, internship, and registered apprenticeship programs. We are seeking a Manager - Youth Apprenticeships to: Lead UW Health’s Youth Apprenticeship, HOPE, summer internship, and non-clinical registered apprenticeship programs. Oversee staff including Career Pathways coordinators and supporting operational and educational teams. Manage program operations, resources, schedules, and continuous quality improvement. Partner with internal leaders and instructional staff to deliver high-quality, cost-effective education. Collaborate with external partners including K–12 school districts, technical colleges, community organizations, and state workforce agencies. Develop and support new programs aligned with workforce pipeline and equity goals. Monitor apprentice and intern progress and ensure consistent program delivery across UW Health sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in education, science, management or healthcare. Required
  • 5 years leadership experience in healthcare and/or education. Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in related field. Preferred
  • Experience leading workforce development, youth programming, or career pathway initiatives across multiple stakeholders. Preferred
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid Preferred
