In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Construction Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five year of experience leading BIM coordination for multi-discipline projects and producing designs for life science projects
  • Familiarly with the life science and pharmaceutical industries
  • A strong background in developing and delivering software training
  • A high-level of proficiency with BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Recap, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and solid interpersonal skills
  • Experience facilitating meetings and training events
  • A willingness to travel 20% for work
  • An associate’s degree in engineering, computer-aided drafting, or a similar area of study

Nice To Haves

  • A working knowledge of augmented/virtual reality, Autodesk Collections, point cloud data, MicroStation, Lumion, CADWorx, CTC Tools, Revizto, PointFuse, Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam Revu (preferred)
  • A bachelor of science in engineering (preferred)
  • Autodesk/BIM Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM coordination for high-profile life science and advanced tech projects
  • Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans
  • Administer Autodesk Construction Cloud software
  • Maintain federated BIM models
  • Lead coordination calls with the design team
  • Manage model coordination and clash detection
  • Assist with quality assurance
  • Implement BIM within the life science market sector; define and refine best practices and procedures
  • Provide BIM/CAD leadership to the life science market sector including implementing design standards, providing software training, and developing standard design details
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding of design staff
  • Manage technical support for the life science team
  • Coordinate with other in-house disciplines who work with BIM models
  • Maintain and develop the Barry-Wehmiller Design Group standard detail libraries
  • Support designers and engineers with design software issues through the national helpdesk system
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
