About The Position

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is Visa's strategy consulting group, specializing in strategy consulting, data analytics, and pragmatic industry experience to improve client performance. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and customer focused Client Solution Architect to join our team. The Manager, VCA Managed Services role offers the opportunity for a solution architect to help clients with innovative solutions within the payment card industry.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • More than 3 years of payments and/or Financial Services consulting background and experience.
  • More than 3 years of experience in defining and designing business and technical solution architecture in payment services industry.
  • Experience implementing and enabling technology solutions with merchants, acquirers and payment technology providers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to quickly learn and gain proficiency in areas with limited experience.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems.
  • Current knowledge of emerging payment trends, players, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting workshops, identify client needs, design solutions that meet the client needs considering all factors that might impact the solution.
  • Understand client's current state architecture, define target state architectures and build roadmap of prioritized features to meet client requirements.
  • Produce artifacts that detail functional and non-functional requirements, solution design including flows, business architecture diagrams, use cases, user experience, impacted components, relative prioritization of desired feature sets, acceptance criteria etc.
  • Stays abreast of payment technologies and innovations.
