About The Position

We’re seeking a Manager, User Experience Design who is passionate about designing intuitive, inclusive, and elegant experiences and who is equally energized by leading and growing a team of designers. As a UX Design Manager, you will guide your team in translating complex problems into clear, usable, and impactful experiences. You’ll mentor and coach designers, elevate the quality of craft, and help connect user needs to business outcomes. Our design leaders balance strategic thinking with hands-on contribution, leading by example when needed. We value diverse perspectives and are looking for leaders who are empathetic, thoughtful, and committed to building strong, collaborative teams.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience designing digital experiences across web and mobile.
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing UX or product design teams.
  • Strong judgment and foundation across UX disciplines, including user research, prototyping, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Proven experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define and drive experience strategy.
  • Ability to connect business goals to human needs and guide teams toward thoughtful, user-centered outcomes.
  • Experience establishing and evolving collaborative design processes, including design systems and cross-functional workflows.
  • A strong point of view on constructive critique and feedback, and how to foster a healthy design culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to support designer well-being, engagement, and long-term career growth.
  • Experience leading or facilitating workshops, design sprints, and collaborative working sessions.
  • A nuanced understanding of inclusive design principles and equitable hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Bring clarity and direction to ambiguous problem spaces through a user-centered lens.
  • Enable designers to deliver meaningful, outcome-driven experiences in close partnership with Product and Engineering.
  • Articulate and advocate for experience strategy, vision, and design rationale across the organization.
  • Coach, mentor, and support the growth and development of UX designers.
