About The Position

The Manager Transportation is responsible for all client facing transportation management activities including field operations. This position will be onsite in Rayville, LA. This is a 24hr operation and we are hiring for the overnight shift. Starting Salary would be $75,000 - $85,000/yr depending on experience. Possibly shifts available: Monday Evening - Saturday Morning - 6pm - 3am Monday Evening - Saturday Morning - 10pm - 7am

• Eight (8) years or more relevant work experience required
• Seven (7) years or more industry related experience required
• Seven (7) years or more previous experience with financials and finance acumen required

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred in Business, Logistics or related field

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison between GC’s & logistics teams managing the project plan
• Coordinate flow of materials and equipment to the site with the GCs
• Voice and advocate for GCs responsible for aligning deliveries with shifting project timelines and plans to avoid bottlenecks or site congestion
• Aligns efforts and results to customer requirements and scope of work
• Develops and manages corrective actions and continuous process improvement
• Supervises others (hire, promote, coach, develops and performance management)
• Strategic customer initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned.
