About The Position
The Transaction Advisory Services Manager is a pivotal role within BDO, responsible for managing financial, accounting, and operational due diligence engagements. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the due diligence process, ensuring that all services and products delivered meet BDO's high standards of quality and efficiency. The manager will oversee the planning and execution of due diligence projects, applying their expertise to analyze financial and operational results in the context of proposed transactions. This involves conducting thorough industry, company, and technical accounting research to assist clients in making informed decisions that significantly impact their transactions. In this role, the manager will conduct interviews with C-level personnel at target companies, identifying and proposing resolutions to critical issues that arise during the M&A process. They will be responsible for composing detailed financial due diligence reports that highlight key quality of earnings, working capital, and debt-like issues that may affect the proposed transaction. The manager will also manage the relationship and information flow between BDO, the client, and the target company, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Additionally, the Transaction Advisory Services Manager will partner with senior managers, directors, and principals to identify and pursue business development opportunities through industry and network relationships. Building and maintaining relationships with BDO professionals across various lines of business is essential. The role also involves researching and developing proposal documents and participating in presentations aimed at acquiring new clients. Supervisory responsibilities include scheduling and supervising the tasks of TAS Associates and Senior Associates, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback and training to foster their professional development.
