Public Health Solutions (PHS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit community-based organization that has been dedicated to improving health equity and addressing health-related social needs for historically underserved marginalized communities for 70 years. As the largest public health nonprofit serving New York City, PHS aims to enhance health outcomes and support community well-being by providing direct services to vulnerable families and collaborating with community-based organizations through public-private partnerships. The organization focuses on a variety of public health issues, including food and nutrition, health insurance, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, tobacco control, and HIV/AIDS. The position of Manager, Training and Technical Assistance is crucial for overseeing the WholeYouNYC-SCN training and technical assistance activities for health-related social needs service providers. The manager will work closely with the Healthcare-Community Partnerships Capacity Building Team and other network care delivery teams to enhance the knowledge capacity and engagement of service providers. This role requires a deep understanding of the SCN care delivery process and the ability to provide leadership and best practice techniques to network staff and partners. The manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training curricula, managing the onboarding process for network partners, and ensuring the availability of resources through the SCN Knowledge Hub. Additionally, the manager will design and implement tailored technical assistance solutions, oversee network technical assistance activities, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives. This position also involves direct oversight and performance management of Training and Technical Assistance Coordinators, contributing to the overall success of the WholeYouNYC-SCN program. The role is grant-funded and will conclude on March 31, 2027.
