Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and experience within CPG sector; BevAlc preferred
  • Expertise in category management principles, syndicated data, shopper/consumer insights
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making and quantitative analysis skills to provide insights into performance and efficiency opportunities
  • Working knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI), Internal Shipment Data, POS Data, Spectra, HH Panel, Numerator
  • Must possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws
  • Overnight travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver effective reports using POS data, Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI), and account specific database information to the key managers in presentation ready formats
  • Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry and provide effective information for assigned commodities in the pursuit to deliver sales, margin, and market development goals
  • Develop Supplier Planning Initiatives, including supplier meetings, programming communication, and business review/planning meeting with SGWS leadership
  • Utilize various available analytic tools (Tableau, ACD, EzFocus, etc.) to identify local market intelligence and opportunities - consumer shifts/trends, channel dynamics, key account dynamics, etc.
  • Ensure all program tracking is accurate, timely and aligns with national reporting
  • Coach, direct, and counsel team on overall performance; define expectations and monitor progress
  • Manage multiple priorities and perform other job-related duties as assigned
