About The Position

As the Manager of EPD Sourcing, you'll lead and evolve a high-performing team of technical sourcers focused on identifying and engaging global engineering, product, and design talent. This is a strategic, high-impact role where you'll partner with recruiting leadership and EPD leaders to develop proactive, scalable talent strategies that directly shape Vanta's ability to build exceptional products. We're looking for a sourcing leader who combines vision with disciplined execution, sets a high bar for performance, and helps shape how the company approaches talent at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on impact and partnership. You’ll coach your team through nuanced hiring challenges, diagnose and resolve pipeline issues, and build strategy that elevates sourcing as a strategic partner to the business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, including 2+ years of management experience
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in passive candidate engagement, talent mapping, and sourcing strategies for complex technical roles.
  • Proven track record of leading sourcing teams that deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes while supporting a growing business.
  • Strong operational execution, including project management, prioritization, and follow-through in fast-paced environments.
  • Data-informed decision-making, using recruiting analytics to inform decisions, assess pipeline health, and drive continuous improvement in team performance.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, developing talent through clear expectations, investing in growth and feedback, and creating environments where people can do their best work.
  • Clear, effective communication and collaboration. Ability to navigate difficult conversations and build trust.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Mapping: Build and evolve sourcing strategies informed by market research and talent intelligence, developing a clear point of view on the technical talent landscape and how Vanta competes for talent
  • Sourcing at Scale: Shape a sourcing function trusted for consistency, quality, and ability to deliver as the business grows
  • Sourcing Craft: Apply deep sourcing expertise to guide approach, coach effectively, and maintain a strong bar for quality.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Support and develop a high-performing sourcing team through thoughtful leadership, clarity, and systems that support collaboration and growth
  • Framework-Driven Leadership: Use thoughtful frameworks and data to help the team stay aligned, focused, and adaptable while navigating change
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with the recruiting team and EPD leaders, building trust and alignment through strong communication, influence, and delivery
