Role summary We are seeking a Manager, Technical Product Owner to lead the product vision, roadmap and backlog for ServiceNow Global Services products with focus on Procurement (Source-to-Pay, S2P). This hands-on technical product role bridges procurement and finance stakeholders with technical delivery teams to prioritize features that improve procurement efficiency, compliance and the user experience. You will partner with the platform and engineering teams to ensure optimal configuration of ServiceNow S2P modules, leverage out-of-the-box functionality, and apply in-platform AI to automate and enhance workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business or related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 4–7 years) as a Product Owner / Technical Product Owner delivering enterprise procurement or S2P solutions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow S2P modules strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay processes: procure-to-pay, supplier lifecycle management, contract management, sourcing and catalogs.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, configuration patterns, and the trade-offs between configuration and customization.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum product practices: backlog management, user story writing, acceptance criteria, sprint planning and demos.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (procurement, finance, IT) and influence at multiple levels.
  • Excellent communicator with experience running demos, workshops and stakeholder working sessions.
  • Familiarity with integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, ERP, Identity/Access systems) and understanding of integration considerations.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for relevant modules.
  • Experience applying or implementing ServiceNow features (e.g., Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Flow Designer).
  • Prior experience in Global Business Services or shared-services operating models.
  • Experience with analytics and reporting on procurement / supplier metrics (BI tools a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Product vision & roadmap Define and own the S2P product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for ServiceNow procurement modules aligned to GS and enterprise procurement objectives. Translate business strategy and stakeholder needs into a prioritized backlog of epics, features and user stories.
  • Backlog & prioritization Maintain and groom the backlog, make trade-off decisions, and prioritize delivery based on business value, risk, cost and technical feasibility. Balance configuration-first approaches using out-of-the-box capabilities with minimal necessary customization.
  • Platform partnership & configuration Work closely with the ServiceNow platform team, architects and vendors to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and follow platform best practices. Ensure optimal configuration of procurement modules (procurement case management, supplier management, contract management, sourcing, catalog, requisition-to-order flows).
  • In-platform AI & automation Identify and pilot opportunities to use ServiceNow-native A features and workflow automation to reduce manual work, improve decisioning and enhance the user experience.
  • Stakeholder engagement & adoption Collaborate with Business Product Owners, Procurement leadership, sourcing, suppliers and end users to gather requirements, validate solutions and drive adoption. Conduct demos, influence business partners, capture feedback, and iterate on capabilities to maximize value and adoption. Partner with ServiceNow product groups on ideas for enhancement requests.
  • Delivery & quality Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives); partner with developers and QA to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Define acceptance criteria, participate in testing and validate that delivered functionality meets business needs.
  • Metrics & continuous improvement Define OKRs with success metrics (e.g., cycle times, user satisfaction, adoption, compliance metrics) and monitor product performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Governance & compliance Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, data privacy and procurement governance requirements.
