About The Position

Operating within the core values and operating principles of the organization, the Manager, Technical Delivery will oversee a team of scrum masters and coordinate across all product teams. This role will focus on ensuring that our delivery processes are efficient and aligned with our enterprise goals. Working within an agile framework, you will facilitate cross-team collaboration to drive successful outcomes and delivery of projects. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills will be crucial in guiding teams to develop and deliver, providing real value to the enterprise and our customers. This role will play a key part in delivery across the digital and innovations product teams, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the seamless integration of technologies to support our growth ambitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years leading, managing and delivering projects and/or programs
  • Working knowledge of project leadership on multifaceted and increasingly complex projects
  • 10 years of Technology Project related experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile Methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Vision Alignment: Ensure that all product initiatives are executed in alignment with the broader product strategy and company goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, effectively communicating delivery progress, challenges, and changes in priorities.
  • Scrum Master Management: Oversee and support scrum master's across product teams to ensure effective delivery, providing guidance and removing obstacles to enhance team performance.
  • Agile Framework Implementation: Assist the team and scrum masters in adhering to agile principles and practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging experimentation, feedback, and learning from successes and challenges.
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Ensure teams are performing agile ceremonies, promoting collaboration and open communication among team members to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Utilize agile metrics to assess team performance and delivery effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all teams to ensure alignment on delivery timelines, goals, and execution strategies.
  • Transparency: Foster open, transparent communication within the team and across departments, ensuring that delivery roadmaps, decisions, and changes are clearly communicated.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions quickly, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and communicate those decisions clearly to the team.
