About The Position

The Manager, Talent Solutions will join an established team of legal recruiters within Consilio, working collaboratively across the Client Solutions, People & Development, and New Business teams. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, exhibit a strong commitment to client service, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This unified role combines both client‑facing responsibilities (commercial strategy, requirement scoping, and fulfillment) and candidate‑facing responsibilities (recruiting, screening, interviewing, vetting, and professional development). The Manager, Talent Solutions plays a critical role in aligning qualified legal professionals with client needs while maintaining strong relationships across the candidate and client lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor (J.D.) highly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of legal experience (large law firm, in‑house, or legal services consulting).
  • Ability to assess legal talent and align candidate capabilities to client requirements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with Bullhorn or similar ATS; Salesforce experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior legal recruiting experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize commercially with clients and the New Business team to understand openings, define requirements, and support successful fulfillment.
  • Interact with corporate legal departments and law firms to understand opportunities, specific needs, and present viable candidates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on the legal talent market and industry trends.
  • Support New Business and Client Solutions teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
  • Utilize Salesforce to input, track, and manage new client orders.
  • Recruit, screen, interview, vet, and professionally develop legal professionals.
  • Build strong candidate pipelines aligned with supply and demand signals.
  • Validate candidate skills, experience, business acumen, and professionalism, including providing final approval for placements.
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews and guide them through the hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Match existing roster and prospective candidates to client requirements and present recommendations to internal stakeholder teams.
  • Maintain active relationships with candidates both on and off assignment.
  • Assist in the management and growth of existing candidate relationships by staying informed about the legal job market and client environments.
  • Participate in in‑person and virtual legal networking events to identify prospective candidates and client opportunities.
  • Verify all activities are accurately documented in Bullhorn (ATS) and applicable tracking tools such as Smartsheet.
  • Collaborate with People & Development team members to educate them on client needs and talent requirements.
  • Engage administrative teams to ensure all employment or client‑required paperwork is completed prior to assignment.
  • Work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines and manage competing priorities across cross‑functional groups.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment when navigating wide‑ranging matters and conflicting deadlines.
  • Promote teamwork by cultivating relationships, sharing information, and communicating effectively.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively with a positive, practical approach.
  • Show interest in learning and using various tools, including proprietary systems.
  • Practice and adhere to the Consilio Handbook.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
