About The Position

Legend Biotech is a global biotechnology company dedicated to treating, and one day curing, life-threatening diseases. Legend Biotech entered into a global collaboration agreement with Janssen, one of the pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson, to jointly develop and commercialize ciltacabtagene autolecuel (cilta-cel). Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition, Carvykti as part of the Talent Acquisition team based in Somerset, NJ. Role Overview The Manager, Talent Intelligence & Sourcing enables HR teams to drive business growth by delivering strategic insights, strengthening global sourcing capabilities, and leading organizational talent strategy initiatives. This role plays a critical part in developing data-informed recruitment strategies, building scalable systems, and fostering strong partnerships with TA teams, HRBPs, Global HR CoEs, and business leaders. The ideal candidate is highly independent, analytical, and solution-oriented, with deep curiosity for talent movement. This individual will lead efforts to translate complex talent market data into actionable strategies while overseeing key initiatives such as external succession planning and competitive intelligence. The role also includes leadership and development of the sourcing team to enhance Legend Biotech’s global direct sourcing capability.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Talent Intelligence, corporate research, talent analytics, consulting, or related strategic roles is preferred.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a sourcing or research team is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to learn new technology and domains, and quickly understand and apply this knowledge into strategies for Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Ability to effectively engage the attention of stakeholders and articulate complex arguments in a polished and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Develop talent market intelligence by analyzing talent trends, competitive landscapes, and talent pool availability across key geographies and functions.
  • Provide interpretation of market intelligence and assess its implications for hiring strategies, workforce planning, and business competitiveness.
  • Monitor global labor market shifts and recommend strategic adjustments to maintain a competitive edge in attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Use internal and external data to shape talent acquisition strategies and inform long-term workforce planning.
  • Lead the External Succession Planning initiative, evaluating external talent pipelines for critical roles and providing insights to influence leadership succession decisions.
  • Own and expand Competitive Intelligence efforts, delivering insights on competitor hiring behaviors, talent movements, organizational structures, and labor market positioning.
  • Collaborate with senior HR and business stakeholders to integrate Talent Intelligence insights into broader talent strategies and decision-making frameworks.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the global sourcing team to enhance Legend Biotech’s direct sourcing capability and operational excellence.
  • Design and implement scalable sourcing strategies aligned with Legend’s long-term talent needs.
  • Partner with regional TA leads and recruiters to strengthen global sourcing capabilities and support high-impact hiring outcomes.
  • Leverage talent data and skills analysis to determine optimal sourcing channels and build diverse pipelines of critical talent.
  • Embed market insights into recruiter and sourcer workflows, developing training and tools to elevate sourcing effectiveness.
  • Build and evolve the infrastructure, tools, and systems required for a scalable, best-in-class Talent Intelligence function.
  • Collaborate on workforce forecasting frameworks to enable accurate projections of global hiring needs.
  • Develop compelling communication strategies to share market insights with senior stakeholders and influence hiring strategies.
  • Educate TA teams and business leaders on talent trends, industry benchmarks, best practices, and emerging TA technologies.
