About The Position

As the Manager, Systems Administration, you’ll lead a skilled team responsible for managing enterprise systems across both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, resolve escalated technical issues, and shape strategies for system effectiveness. Requirements

Technical Expertise: Advanced expertise in server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms, and enterprise productivity suites, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Leadership: Proven leadership experience in developing technical teams and managing IT operations, including system upgrades and migrations.
Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities, with a collaborative approach across departments.
Education & Certification: Post-secondary education in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent experience), plus professional certifications in cloud/virtualization technologies.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in systems administration and 5 years in IT leadership.

Responsibilities

Systems Management: Optimize server infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, and productivity tools; resolve service requests and incidents efficiently.
Team Development: Mentor and support the systems administration team; manage schedules and foster collaboration.
Performance Reporting: Provide accurate KPI reports and lead improvement initiatives; support systems-related projects.
Knowledge Management: Maintain IT support documentation and assist during outages.
Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for reliable, cost-effective service.
