About The Position

The Manager Support Services for Home Care at Masonicare is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all support service functions across multiple branches of Masonicare Home Health & Hospice. This role involves managing administrative and non-clinical needs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and developing workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency. The manager will also play a key role in staff development, performance evaluation, and quality assurance, while fostering a professional environment for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years related work experience in home health or hospice.
  • Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all administrative/non-clinical needs of all Masonicare Home Health & Hospice branches.
  • Ensure assigned staff adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards for both home health and hospice.
  • Oversee the support services staff to ensure that their workflow is appropriate and completed as defined in the agency's guidelines.
  • Develop and implement workflow processes and communicate changes to all levels of staff in a clear, concise manner.
  • Participate in setting standards for all support services performance objectives.
  • Responsible for the selection, training, and supervision of department personnel.
  • Assume an active role in the professional development of assigned staff, including participation in orientation, ongoing skill development, and other mentoring activities.
  • Maintain an office environment that fosters the professional growth and development of assigned staff.
  • Implement corrective action as needed and evaluate employee performance.
  • Motivate and recognize employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
  • Perform staff quality assurance reviews to evaluate performance and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Management Team to plan for and implement improvement measures.
  • Monitor and report the results of changes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Oversee the maintenance of clinical records, both paper and electronic documents in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Oversee ordering of Telemonitoring and other equipment as needed.
  • Ensure office reception and telephone communication is managed in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensure photocopying/faxing are completed timely and appropriately.
  • Oversee ordering of office supplies and routine medical supplies as needed.
  • Ensure reports are run on a timely basis and distributed as appropriate.
  • Perform all Support Services functions as identified area and/or back up for staff absences.
  • Assist with the Contract Management process for Masonicare Home Health & Hospice.
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully with clients, recognizing their age, cultural diversity, needs, abilities, and physical condition.
  • Participate in designated committees as assigned and work on special projects as assigned.
