Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience managing a supply chain team.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier development, and lean manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of products.
• Manages demand planning, procurement, inventory control, supplier relationships, and logistics.
• Partners cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Operations teams to support NBS Next initiatives and drive operational excellence.
• Directs materials planning for made and purchased items based on production demand.
• Develops and executes a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with MSS strategic objectives business goals.
• Oversees the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Directs inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage, including warehouse layout & organization.
• Maintains inventory levels to support production & customer requirement dates.
• Establish criteria and monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Leads a strategic sourcing approach that identifies cost savings through implementation of enhanced buying strategies.
• Performs analysis and write-offs on damaged, slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Negotiates prices and contracts for raw materials and production supplies.
• Leads the SIOP process, facilitate strategic reviews, and present updates to senior leadership.
• Oversees critical KPIs with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Develops and executes projects based on order entry vs. sales to improve forecasting for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Takes the lead for supply chain-related business process improvements and JDE ERP software enhancement opportunities.
• Assesses the need for material-handling equipment; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
• Participates as an advisory member of the product development team.
• Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches.
• Works closely with sales and business development to communicate backorders or production delays.
• Ability to apply, lead and coach others in the foundations of NBS Next to achieve profitable growth through Operational Excellence.
