About The Position

Key Responsibilities Own overall purchasing and inventory performance to support production schedules and business objectives Lead and develop the Purchasing Manager, who oversees purchasing agents and day-to-day procurement activities Oversee sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, MRO, and services Lead the inventory team and establish clear processes for inventory control, accuracy, and accountability Monitor inventory levels, turns, and excess/obsolete material; drive continuous improvement Own cycle count programs and year-end physical inventory Partner with Production, Fabrication, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to support manufacturing operations Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and supply risks; develop mitigation plans as needed Ensure purchasing and inventory data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems Prepare and review purchasing and inventory reports, KPIs, and cost-savings initiatives Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Degree in business preferred. Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Degree in business preferred.
