About The Position

The Manager, Supply Chain supports supplier programs, purchasing compliance, and category initiatives across assigned areas to deliver cost savings, operational consistency, and improved purchasing outcomes. This role focuses on execution, relationship management, and data-driven insights in partnership with Foodbuy and internal Compass stakeholders. The position is designed for a hands-on supply chain professional who can manage day-to-day supplier and client needs while contributing to broader category and compliance strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field OR
  • 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills with attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical abilities with comfort working in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communicator able to work with internal teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with procurement and purchasing systems (e.g., DSSI, Coupa, Ariba, iTrade Network) preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food service, hospitality, or contracted services preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting supplier relationships and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with Compass systems (MyResults, MyOrders) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing, contracting, and pricing initiatives in collaboration with Foodbuy and internal teams.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier and distributor relationships to ensure pricing accuracy, product availability, and service performance.
  • Assist with program rollouts, supplier onboarding, and product transitions.
  • Monitor commodity trends and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving and risk-mitigation opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of order guides and purchasing data within DSSI and related systems.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for assigned clients or regions, supporting purchasing programs and operational alignment.
  • Partner with Operations, Culinary, and Finance teams to promote purchasing compliance and program adoption.
  • Prepare and deliver standard reporting on purchasing metrics, compliance, and savings performance.
  • Support business reviews and routine communications related to supplier programs and initiatives.
  • Escalate supplier or pricing issues as needed and assist in resolution.
  • Track and report on KPIs related to savings, compliance, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Data Insights teams to support dashboards and recurring reporting.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance purchasing execution, data accuracy, and stakeholder communication.
  • Contribute to category initiatives and pilots under the direction of senior supply chain leadership.
