About The Position

The Manager, Supply Chain Solutions (Demand S&OP Solutions Manager) plays a crucial role in developing and applying AbbVie's central Demand Planning and S&OP tools, specifically JDA/Blue Yonder. This position focuses on system design and configuration based on user feedback, collaborating with users to address business challenges, and enhancing system capabilities through Agile Project Management. The role requires a strong understanding of Supply Chain Demand Planning and technical skills to drive system improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar fields.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Programming, Data Science, or Analytics.
• Experience with JDA/Blue Yonder Demand / Demand 360 modules is required.
• Capability to read and generate SQL and SQL-adjacent language programming.
• Fluency in English for written and verbal communication.
• Proven problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.
• Ability to attend meetings outside of standard working hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Demand Management and S&OP teams to support effective demand forecasting tools and reports for stakeholders.
• Provide insights on best practices for Statistical Forecasting, Aggregate Forecasting, and related technologies.
• Enhance the JDA/Blue Yonder Demand platform to optimize user efficiency.
• Draft user and functional specifications for system updates and conduct testing and UAT signoff.
• Balance priorities of end-users, management, and best practices to maximize productivity within the Agile process.
• Lead key platform overhaul initiatives including the implementation of Planning Hierarchies and restructuring core data models.
• Produce and maintain user guides and training materials, and conduct training sessions.
• Design and develop reports, KPIs, and Metrics for Supply Chain Demand Management and S&OP teams.
• Maintain data for interface mappings, configuration tables, and other vital elements.
• Expand core competencies in Demand Planning to facilitate future AI and ML capabilities.
